It is the reversal of this process that occurs when our physical body
The essence of who we are, the unified We is a compilation of all polarities that exist around us here on Earth. We are: yin and yang, dark and light, night and day, nurturing and destructive, aggressive and submissive, femininity and masculinity, receptive and projective. This list could go on and on because you see, we are everything. We are limitless. In our purest form we are neither female nor male – we are both. It is only on this physical plane of existence that we adopted a specific gender knowing that each gender could lead to a specific life experience. It was not by chance or coincidence that we manifested in the gender we did. We made the choice prior to our physical manifestation. We chose our gender, our parents and our bodies. We made these choices because we were aware of what this specific physical body, what these particular parents with these life experiences and possible future experiences had to offer us and we wanted to experience them.
The moment we were born into physicality our connection to God Herself was weakened. Our focus shifted from the spiritual realm to the physical realm with all its new sensations and myriad of distractions. Connection to God Herself can most definitely benefit us and enhance our life experience but only if we nurture and maintain that bond. Unfortunately, many of us lose sight of that. We become so distracted by the pleasures and sometimes pains of this physical existence that we forget Spirit is always available to us. If we neglect our relationship to God Herself it will erode to the point where the connection is almost non-existent.
We are all well aware that to procreate our human species there must be an egg and a sperm present whether that fertilization occurs within a human body or outside of one is irrelevant thanks to the aid of our modern scientific advancements. If we chose to be born on Earth as a female we knew that if we continued with the trajectory of that choice, it would lead to the experience of motherhood and in the same respect if we were born as a male we knew that it would lead to fatherhood. However, while our life unfolded, as we made choices when faced with numerous situations both nurturing and destructive, we may have come to a conscious decision that we didn’t wish to experience parenthood. Our choices lead in a different direction than we originally anticipated prior to our physical manifestation within our current physical body and while that may have happened, the initial motivation for transcending here as a specific gender never altered.
So, what about sex? As discussed earlier the purpose of sex or intercourse is to procreate, to create an energy vortex so that another essence or soul can be born into the physical plane of existence. Our bodies, minds, and spirits are equipped for the reproduction of our human species. We become energetically engaged in the act of sexual intercourse. Sex is a physical expression of love, a strong emotional tenderness and caring we feel for another human being. Whether that individual is of the opposite or the same gender is irrelevant since we are in essence both genders and all polarities. We are sacred beings complete in our individuality but when unified we are One. It is precisely why all acts of love and pleasure are sacred. We are expected to love ourselves and to love others because we are all of and part of the same spirit, God Herself.
Love originates with God Herself. It is true, simple yet the most complex human emotion. While we thrive on this physical plane of existence our physicality taints our emotions – including love. As we are embraced and enfolded in the emotion of love we search for a way to express the depth of this bond with others, which can be overwhelmingly confusing. Sex is the physical manifestation of this expression. It is a natural way to express what we are feeling within our truest essence in a physical way. We live in physicality so to express love physically is natural. If we were on a spiritual plane then we would be expressing the emotion in a spiritual way.
Some in our society have declared some sexual acts as “sinful”, “abominations”, and “perversions” but it is clear that they do not understand the nature of love. Love transcends gender. Love transcends physicality. The essence of who we are IS both genders even if our physical bodies are not.
