Silence also means knowing when to speak and when to hold one’s tongue. I have found that those who speak little actually hold more wisdom than others may believe. It is not the Witch boasting that they “work with entities that would make you shit your pants” nor the Witch that challenges “I will curse a bitch when necessary” that hold the most power … those who scream the loudest are not the ones who hold the most; they are the ones who seem to me to be trying to convince me and themselves that they are the “biggest, baddest, Witch around”. Frankly, I don’t believe it. I would be more concerned about the one who says – nothing; the one who remains silent because when you have confidence in your Witchcraft, when you have confidence in your own power to manipulate the energies and create change to manifest your intentions you have no need to boast about who you are and what you are able to do. There is nothing in that behavior for you because you understand the power of silence. Well, at least that is my opinion about it all.
