I was watching some videos on YouTube yesterday and came across one in which the creator was discussing The Law of Attraction. These videos always intrigue me so I watched it and felt the motivation to write about my thoughts and personal insights to what the individual said within their video. The creator's stance was that The Law of Attraction is dishonest. Obviously this is just her opinion and feelings regarding the concept and she never stated it as fact., but as someone who resonates with The Law of Attraction and who recognizes the similarities between it and witchcraft and magick, I was somewhat offended by her words and I would like to take this opportunity to share my understanding of The
I was watching a video on YouTube yesterday and the individual was discussing why spells fail. The majority of the video I agreed with the ideas that this person was sharing until the point where needs and wants were discussed. I hear this individual’s point of view often when discussing spell crafting and casting with others and it seems to me that my point of view is not shared by many if at all. Now, I’ve written about this back in 2013 when discussing The Law of Attraction (you can find the original blog post here), but I believe it is a topic that can be addressed continuously because it is an important aspect of spell casting and manifestation.
As always I am going to suggest that we look at the definition of both words: need and want. I do this so that you can understand what I mean when I
I find that many seekers who are new to The Craft misunderstand and occasionally misuse binding spells. They cast this type of spell when the better option would be to work a banishing. When a witch attempts to bind someone they are forcing or restraining the Will of that individual with their own energy. When we do this we are in fact binding ourselves to that particular individual, behavior or situation. Is that really the desired intention? In most cases it is not and when some time goes by the witch believes that their spell has not worked but on the contrary – it has.
Have you seen the movie The Craft? Do you remember when Sara took the photo of Nancy and wrapped a ribbon around it while saying, “I bind you from doing harm Nancy, harm against other
Our universe is made of energy. All beings and objects within our universe are also made of energy and each carries a unique vibrational frequency. The possibilities in our universe are endless because our imagination is limitless. We create everything!
Since everything is energy everything is connected and interacts with everything else. Each object, each body, every event is a receiver and sender of vibrations. As you focus on an object, a person or an event you activate that particular vibrational frequency and in doing so, you ultimately attract it into your life experience. That object, body or event has become your point of attraction.
We are constantly creating either from what we are observing around us (creating by default) or by envisioning what we most desire for ourselves (deliberate creation). The Law of
When following The Law of Attraction, what is the difference between “want” and “need”? Is it possible that Universal Source only responds to what you “need” as apposed to what you “want”? The times when it appears that you are not manifesting what you “want” is it because Universal Source determines that what you “want” isn’t truly what you “need” at the time? I’ve read and heard it said, “The Universe answers us when it is a true need and not a want.” Can this statement really be true? Is this how The Law of Attraction works? I’ve also been told that “wants” come from ego while “needs” come from somewhere else – Higher Self or Inner Being. So then a “need” must originate from Spirit since that is what The Law of Attraction responds to. Right?
