This illustrates the concept of equivalent exchange; the amount of energy we give to something the more pleasure it brings us and the greater the value we associate with it. When we are given something that perhaps required us to do nothing for, the value tends to be equivalent. The freebies that are given away as bait to those individuals that may be potential customers or clients for a business tend to be forgotten by the majority of the receivers because they are not invested in that company. This is not necessarily true of businesses that we frequent or if the gifts we are given is from an individual with whom we have an established and meaningful relationship; those gifts hold value to us in relationship to the person who gave it to us. A freebie from my hairdresser may have less value to me than a gift from my daughter.
When we consider the suffering, pain, and discomfort that the majority of the population of our planet is experiencing and the emotional and mental energy we each give to the current situations within our society from the social injustices to natural global conditions that are being physically faced by our brothers and sisters, we can firmly hold on to the hope that the gift awaiting us just beyond the horizon is equivalent in value to that of our collective energy. The earth is on the cusp of a great transformation. Humanity is undergoing a great energetic evolution … hold on, it’s going to be on hell of a ride.
